Walks away from totaled truck
Coma Horton was real lucky Monday morning. He walked away from his pickup after it was run over by an 18-wheeler freight truck at the intersection of Highway 84 and Jackson Street. Horton, of Grove Hill, said he did not see the truck coming and pulled out from the BP station into its path. The big rig was driven by Gary Neal Harper of Davenport, Fla. Horton was checked out at the local hospital and treated for a cut on the head and some other bruises but otherwise seemed fine. Photo by Jim Cox
