Thomas Marion Singleton, 56, of Jackson died Oct. 3, 2003 at Jackson Health Medical Center.

He was self-employed as a contractor. He was a member of the Stave Creek Baptist Church of Jackson.

Survivors include a brother-in-law, Lewis Carl Covan, Huntsville; one nephew, Mark Covan, Huntsville; one niece, Cynthia Brainerd, Old Hickory, TN; many other relatives.

The service was held Oct. 5 at 3 p.m. at the chapel of Lathan Funeral Home. Burial was in the Stave Creek Baptist Church Cemetery.
