Mosley’s 25509 Hwy. 43 S. Thomasville Ph. 334/636-2770 "Personal favors in the nicest way" Brown Emma "Sharon" Abrams Brown, 42, of Mobile died Sept. 21, 2003 at USA Medical Center. She had worked as a nurses aid. Survivors include her father, William Charles Abrams; her mother, Ella Abrams, both of Mobile; one son, Megale Abrams, Mobile; one stepson, Travis Miller, Mobile; three daughters, Veronica Brown, Portia Brown, both of Mobile, Barbara Eaton, Thomasville; three brothers, Roderick Abrams, Atlanta, GA, Charles Abrams, Curtis Abrams, Mobile; three sisters, Angela Goodner, Felicia Abrams, Deatrice Abrams, Mobile; The service was held Sept. 27 at 10 a.m. at the El Bethel Primitive Baptist Church in Mobile with Dr. Jonathan L. Yates officiating. Burial was in the Gethsemane Cemetery. Mosley’s Funeral Home directed. Active pallbearers were Laymen Brotherhood. Craig Dicie M. Craig, 88, of Thomasville died Sept. 23, 2003 at her residence. She was a homemaker. Survivors include one son, Johnnie Russell, Mobile; one daughter, LaShonda Williams, Thomasville; four grandchildren, Keenan Williams, Shane Williams, both of Thomasville, Kimberly Russell, Shanenina Russell, both of Mobile; two great-grandchildren. The service was held Sept. 27 at 2 p.m. at the Tallahatta C.M.E. Church with Rev. Donald Craig officiating. Burial was in the Tallahatta C.M.E. Cemetery in Campbell. Mosley’s Funeral Home directed. Active pallbearers were the Thigpen Brothers. Young Rosie Lee Young, 79, of Whatley died Sept. 30, 2003 at Providence Hospital in Mobile. She had worked as a seamstress and a homemaker. Survivors include her husband, James Young; seven sons, Joe Frank Horn, Benjamin, "B.J." Young, James Young, Gary Young of Alabama, George "Sambo," Young, Hawaii, Elvis Young, Florida, Walter James Orse, North Carolina; nine daughters, Mamie Horn, Mary Young, Bronx, NY, Martha Winn, Brooklyn, NY, Joyce Ancrum, Queens, NY, Faye, Sherri, Adella of Alabama, Tammy Ennaemba, Georgia, Chrissie Horn, Mobile; 41 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren. The service was held Oct. 4 at 2 p.m. at the Indian Ridge Baptist Church with Rev. Elvis Young officiating. Burial was in the Indian Ridge Cemetery. Mosley’s Funeral Home directed. Active pallbearers were nephews.
