Beckham

Archie L. Beckham, 77, of Winn died Oct. 1, 2003 at Jackson Medical Center.

He had worked at Brookly Air Force Base.

Survivors include two nieces, Cora J. White, Charlotte Sexton, Winn; one nephew, Willard White, Winn.

The service was held Oct. 6 at 11 a.m. at the Bethlehem Baptist Church with Rev. Glenn Sullivan officiating. Burial was in the Bethlehem Baptist Church Cemetery. Reese Funeral Home directed.

Active pallbearers were friends.

Brock

Earnest George Brock, 44, of Thomasville died Sept. 24, 2003 at Mobile Infirmary.

Survivors include his father, John Brock, Thomasville; his mother, Carrie Brock, Thomasville; six brothers, Johnny Brock, John D. Brock, Prichard, Matthew Brock, Thomasville, Arthur Brock, Birmingham, David Brock, Dickinson, Calvin Brock, Pine Hill; one sister, Bessie McCullough, Montgomery.

The service was held Sept. 30 at noon at the Antioch Baptist Church in Nicholsville with Rev. Moses Lartey officiating. Burial was in the Antioch Baptist Church Cemetery. Reese Funeral Home directed.

Active pallbearers were friends.

McCaskill

Sallie K. McCaskill, 91, of Lower Peach Tree died Sept. 25, 2003 at Monroe County Hospital.

She was a homemaker.

Survivors include three daughters, Carrie M. Lane, Nellie Carstarphen, both of Lower Peach Tree, Thelma Woods, Thomasville; eight grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; 14 great-great-grandchildren.

The service was held Oct. 4 at noon at the Mt. Sinai A.M.E. Church of Lower Peach Tree with Rev. W.W. Nixon officiating. Burial was in the Mt. Sinai A.M.E. Church Cemetery of Lower Peach Tree. Reese Funeral Home directed.

Active pallbearers were grandsons.

Shamburger

Marion Shamburger Jr., 41, of Thomasville died Sept. 27, 2003 at U.S.A. Medical Center in Mobile.

He had worked as a carpenter.

Survivors include his father, Marion Shamburger Sr.; his mother, Dorothy Shamburger; his wife, Velma Shamburger, Detroit, MI; five sons, Marvis Shamburger, Detroit, MI, Terrance Reynolds, Texas, Shamus Stallworth, Birmingham, Chris Brock, Rafphel Blackmon, Thomasville; three daughters, Santanna James, Detroit, MI, Monique Morrissette, Mobile, Porshia Reynolds, El Paso, TX; three brothers, Eddie Witherspoon, Texas, Jerry Shamburger, Brian Shamburger, Thomasville; one sister, Sandra Shamburger, Thomasville.

The service was held Oct. 4 at noon at the Thomasville Church Of God In Christ with Elder Jimmy Allen officiating. Burial was in the Thomasville Church Of God In Christ Cemetery. Reese Funeral Home directed.

Active pallbearers were friends.
