UA queen has local ties

Lacey Valeska of Dothan was crowned Homecoming Queen at the University of Alabama Saturday. Here she is escorted by her father, Doug Valeska. Her mother is the former Donna Osborne of Grove Hill. Valeska was elected queen in a general campus election earlier in the week. She is the president of Kappa Kappa Gamma soroity, secretary of Omicron Delta Kappa and a member of Golden Key and Order of Omega. She is the granddaughter of Doris Osborne of Grove Hill.
