Chapman-Abrams to wed in local church

Mr. Abrams, Ms. Chapman

Corine E. Chapman of Grove Hill and Virginia P. Abrams of Pine Hill announce the engagement of their children, Anthonell Charmaine Chapman and Jamie Leondra Abrams.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Novella Chapman and the late Johnny Chapman of Grove Hill.

The prospective groom is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Leon and Lurene Shamburger of Mobile.

Ms. Chapman is currently employed at Alabama Southern Community College in Thomasville.

Mr. Abrams is currently employed with the Alabama Department of Transportation.

The weddding will be an event of Saturday, August 20, 2005 at 4 p.m. at Pine Chapel #1 Baptist Church in Grove Hill. A reception will immediately follow the ceremony at the Mount Zion Community Clubhouse.
