Helwestern Fire and Rescue would like to thank everyone in the Helwestern, Grove Hill and surrounding communities for their support during our car wash and fundraiser Saturday.

We raised $850 that will benefit the American Cancer Society. We also received donations for the fire department, which we appreciate. Whether it's a fire, accident or an event such as Relay For Life, we are happy to pull together for the sake of our friends and neighbors in need.

It's hard to express our deep feeling of appreciation to our many friends and family for the love and support which you have shown us during Robert's surgery and recovery. We thank you for the money, cards, food, flowers, visits, phone calls and most of all your prayers. A special thanks to our supervisors and co-workers for all their support.
