Frances Nobles Flinn, 83, died June 13, 2006.
She was born Oct. 4, 1922. She was a member of Mt. Gilead Baptist Church. She worked parttime at Scogin Motors until her retirement in 2003. She was a native of Taylorsville, Miss., having moved to Alabama in 1942, living in Mobile, Gainestown and Jackson.
Survivors include two sons, Timothy Nobles Flinn, Gainestown, Randolph C. Flinn, Jackson; one stepson, Walton Flinn, Ft. Walton, Fla.; three grandchildren; one great-grandson; several nephews, nieces and her church family.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Francis Marion Nobles and Eula Moore Nobles, her husband, Henry W. Flinn, grandson, Shawn Flinn, sister, Erotha Rishes, brothers, T.M. Nobles and Wylie Nobles.
The service was June 15 at 11 a.m. at the chapel of Lathan Funeral Home. Burial was in the Gainestown Methodist Church Cemetery.
