Fannie Mae Howard Whatley, 80, of Tibbie died Sept. 10, 2006 at her residence.
She was born June 23, 1926. She was a member of Howardtown Baptist. She was a retired seamstress from Cam Manufacturing.
Survivors include two sons, Jimmy Whatley, Monroeville, Joe Whatley, Tibbie; three daughters, Betty Anderson, Mary Akridge, both of Tibbie, June Spaulding, Mt. Shasta, Calif.; three brothers, Eugene Howard, Tibbie, Leamon Howard, Wilmer, Billy Howard, Citronelle; four sisters, Jeannie Howard, Shirley Bazor, both of Tibbie, Betty Presnall, Jackson, Evelyn Tucker, Saraland; 16 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be Thursday, (tonight), Sept. 14 from 6 p.m. until at the Howardtown Baptist Church in Tibbie. The service will be Friday, Sept. 15 at 10 a.m. at the Howardtown Baptist Church in Tibbie. Lathan Funeral Home of Chatom will direct.
Frances Joyce Dennison, 62, of Sweet Water died Sept. 5, 2006 at her residence.
She was born June 15, 1944 in Ruston, La. She was a member of Union Grove Baptist Church. She as a former school dietician.
Survivors include her husband, William E. Dennison, Sweet Water; step-mother, Cecil Newton Barnett, Livingston; three sons, William R. (Vicki) Dennison, Vance, Kevin Lee (Tina) Dennison, John R. Dennison, all of Sweet Water; one daughter, Mary J. Dennison, Montgomery; six brothers, John Arthur (Peggy) Barnett, Little Rock, Ark., Winfred Trayler, Bashi, Robert (Debbie) Barnett, Demopolis, Ernest (Genevieve) Jordan, Monroeville, Morris (Joyce) Jordan, Uniontown, Walter Dennison, Monroeville; ten sisters, Margaret (Buddy) Lynn, Sharyn Cooke, all of Sweet Water, Georgia Ann Cobb, Linden, Marie (David) Posey, Huntsville, Sue (David) German, Tennessee, Betty Traylor, Bashi, Madeline (Richard) Titum, Livingston, Grace Wilkerson, Alabama, Carol Anderson, Mobile, Joyce Dennison, Monroeville; four grandchildren; special family friends, Cynthia Frederick, Montgomery, Peggy Gjellum, Enterprise.
The service was Sept. 7 at 4 p.m. at Union Grove Baptist Church with Revs. Lister Hill, Bo Brantley, Stan Stokely officiating. Burial was in the Union Grove Baptist Church Cemetery in Sweet Water. O'Bryant Chapel Funeral Home of Thomasville directed.
Memorials may be made for the Special Education Department at Sweet Water High School in memory of Frances Dennison.
Active pallbearers were Preston Honeycutt, Robin Barnett, Paul Anderson, Waylon Westbrook, Chris Newton and Kenneth Lynn.
Honorary pallbearers were her brothers and brother-in-laws.
Flossie L. Roe, 93, of Grove Hill died Sept. 8, 2006 at an area hospital. She was born April 2, 1913. She was a homemaker.
Survivors include four sons, Vernon Roe, Jackson, Kenneth Roe, Brewton, Jerry Roe, Mobile, Charles Roe, Grove Hill; two daughters, Barbara R. Wiggins, Martha R. Finney, both of Grove Hill; two brothers, W.C. Smith, Coffeeville, S.D. Smith, Theodore; four sisters, Lois Batley, Nettie Alday, Francis Davis, all of Jackson, Jeanette Lewis, Mobile; 14 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Jim Roe, one daughter, Jean R. Howard, two sisters, Ada Williamson and Virginia Smith, two brothers, Clyde Smith, Clinton Smith, two grandchildren, Sam Roe and Jennifer Roe.
The service was Sept. 10 at 3 p.m. at Mt. Gilead Baptist Church in Walker Springs with Bros. William Allison and Carey Howard officiating. Burial was in the Union Baptist Church Cemetery in Grove Hill. St. Stephens Funeral Home directed.
Condy Lee Robinson, 82, of Campbell died Sept. 4, 2006 at a Mobile hospital.
He was born Aug. 24, 1924. He was a veteran of World War II having served in the United States Army.

Robinson, Helena, Ark., Roy (Betty) Robinson, Toledo, Ohio, Carlton (Harriet) Robinson, Campbell, Jerry (Shirley) Robinson, Montgomery; nine daughters, Celestine Daugherty, Nancy Gilmore, Sharron (James) McDow, all of Abilene, Texas, Nettie (Leon) Johnson, Janice McClain, all of Detroit, Mich., Sara (Robert) Thomas, Chicago, Ill., Vivian Howell, Coffeeville, Barbara (Garry) Caraway, Rialto, Calif., Bonnie (Vincent) Robinson, Fontana, Calif.; 45 grandchildren; 44 great-grandchildren; nine great-great-grandchildren.
The service was Sept. 9 at 11 a.m. at the Tallahatta Springs C.M.E. Church in Campbell with Rev. Jerry Robinson officiating. Burial was in the Tallahatta Springs C.M.E. Church Cemetery. Thomasville Memorial Funeral Home directed.
