Alabama Southern Comm-unity College in Thomasville recently honored graduates in Practical Nursing (LPN) programs with a pinning ceremony on Aug. 4.

Graduates in the Practical Nursing (LPN) program included: Jami Black, Beverly Brock, Alicia Calderon, Amy Campbell, Wanda Campbell, Amanda Harvell, Randi Hicks, Tina Jenkins, Teresa Johnson, Brandi Kelley, Angela Morgan, Mary Morrisette, Gail Simpson, Carla Westbrook and Andrea Windham.

Special awards and recognition in the PN program were given to: Florence Nightingale Award - Most Outstanding Student (Highest GPA) - Jami Black; Nancy Nurse Award - Voted on by classmates - Wanda Campbell; Most Outstanding Student in Adult Child Nursing - Randi Hicks; Most Outstanding Student in Psychosocial Nursing - Alicia Calderon Skelton; and Most Outstanding Student in Maternal and Child Nursing - Jami Black.
