County players work together

Thomasville's Pre-Major all-star team put forth a valiant effort in the 15 & 16-year-old World Series last week in Thomasville but came up short as they finished third in the tournament. Here three players from three different Clarke County schools meet at the mound to pump each other up as they prepare to beat Tocca, Ga. They are Catcher Tyler Walker from Clarke County High, Clarke Prep pitcher Chad Dickinson and third baseman Paul Noble of Thomasville High. The local team beat the Georgia team 9-7 to remain alive. Two days later they lost 10-1 to the same team to be eliminated. Alabama's team, AUM Green, then beat Tocca to claim the championship.
