Mackey Branch continues revival

Mackey Branch #2 Missionary Baptist Church of Whatley will continue its revival Thursday, (tonight), Aug. 17 and end Friday, Aug. 18 at 7:30 p.m. nightly. Evangelist for the week will be Rev. Martin Langham of New Home Missionary Baptist Church of Prichard.

Inspirational Tabernacle revival

Inspirational Tabernacle of Jackson will continue its revival, Thursday, (tonight), Aug. 17 and end Saturday, Aug. 19 at 7:30 p.m. Revs. Clayton Davis, L. Richardson, Sharon King and others will be the special guests. Mother Carrie Alston is the chairperson. The evangelist, Beverly Jackson, is acting pastor.

Youth Rally in Thomasville

Back to School Youth Rally at Thomasville Baptist Gym Saturday, Aug. 19 at 6 p.m. The worship speaker will feature Mark Cahill, former Auburn basketball player (who played with Charles Barkley) who has authored a book entitled, "One Thing You Can't Do In Heaven." Former AU player to speak in Fulton

First Baptist Church of Fulton will have a featured guest speaker Sunday, Aug. 20 at 11 a.m., Mark Cahill, former Auburn football player who has authored a book, "One Thing You Can't Do In Heaven." For more information call 334-636-5305.

Greater Ebenezer revival planned

Greater Ebenezer Baptist Church located at 272 Norris Road in Coffeeville will have its annual homecoming and revival Sunday, Aug. 20 at 12:30 p.m. with Rev. Albert Ridgeway as the speaker. Dinner will be served. The revival will begin Monday, Aug. 21 through Friday, Aug. 25 at 7:30 p.m. nightly. Rev. Richmond A. Chaney of the Union Baptist Church of Leroy will be the guest speaker. Deacon Eugene Coats is the church clerk and Rev. Albert Ridgeway is the pastor.

Chilton Baptist homecoming, revival

Chilton Baptist Church will have homecoming Sunday, Aug. 20 beginning with Sunday school at 10 and worship at 11 a.m. Lunch and singing will follow. Bro. William Allison will be the guest speaker. The Cullomburg Quartet will be the afternoon singers. Revival services will begin at 7 p.m. nightly Monday, Aug. 21 through Friday, Aug. 25 Bro. Clifford Dees invites everyone to attend.

Mt. Zion homecoming set

Mt. Zion #2 Baptist Church will have its homecoming Sunday, Aug. 20 at 11 a.m. There will be an evening service at 5 p.m. The Bolten Brothers will render a song service. The guest speaker for the week will be Bishop Dupree Cook of Right Spirit Ministries of Spanish Fort. The service will start at 7 p.m. nightly. Theresa Coate is the clerk and Rev. Cory Pruitt is the pastor.

Midway Baptist Church

homecoming and revival

Midway Missionary Baptist Church of Dickinson will have homecoming Sunday, Aug. 20 at 2 p.m. Minister Bobby L. Calhoun will bring the message. Revival services will be Monday, Aug. 21 through Friday, Aug. 25 at 7 p.m. nightly. The evangelist for the week will be Rev. Fred D. Moore, pastor of the Christian Chapel Baptist Church of Demopolis. Rev. W. H. Sharp II is the pastor.

Cedar Point's homecoming, revival

Cedar Point Baptist Church located on Highway 31 in the West Bend community in Coffeeville will have its annual homecoming Sunday, Aug. 20 at 2:30 p.m. Rev. Craig Purchase of the Full Gospel Tabernacle Church of Joliet, Ill. will bring the homecoming message. Dinner will be served. Revival services will begin Monday, Aug. 21 through Friday, Aug. 25 at 7 p.m. nightly. Rev. Jimmy McCarty of Mobile will be the speaker for the week.

Wayman Chapel homecoming, revival

Wayman Chapel A.M.E. Church of Suggsville will have homecoming and revival beginning Sunday, Aug. 20 through Friday, Aug. 25. The service Sunday will be at 2 p.m. featuring Rev. Tommie Lee Chapman of Little Rock Baptist Church of Gosport as the speaker. Revival services will begin at 7:30 p.m. nightly and Rev. Georgia Nash will be the evangelist for the week. Rev. Prospere Sainvilus is the pastor.

Greater New Hope's homecoming

Greater New Hope AME Church of Millry will have its annual homecoming celebration Sunday, Aug. 20 at 3 p.m. The guest speaker will be Rev. Mulvoy Taylor Jr., pastor of the Greater Pilgrim Rest Baptist Church of Walker Springs. Revival services begin Monday, Aug. 21 through Friday, Aug. 25 at 7 p.m. nightly. Rev. W.J. Carter, pastor of the New Vision Baptist Church of Waynesboro, Miss. will be the evangelist for the week. Sis. Dorothy Rogers is the program chairman, Sis. Gladys Daniels is the secretary and Rev. Ivory James is the pastor.

New Home Church singing

New Home Church near Monroeville will have a concert Saturday, Aug. 26 at 7 p.m. featuring "The Jeff Treece Band" of Knoxville, Tenn. along with "Grateful Heart" of Monroeville. There will be no charge for admission but a love offering will be received. "Jeff Treece Band" are featured singers in Nashville, Tenn. and Branson, Mo. St. Paul Missionary Baptist

homecoming and revival

St. Paul Missionary Baptist Church of Salitpa will celebrate its annual homecoming and revival Sunday, Aug. 27 through Friday, Sept. 1. The celebration begins Saturday, Aug. 26 with fun day activities from 10 a.m. until 5 p.m. on the church grounds. Sunday morning worship service begins at 11:15 a.m., Sunday afternoon worship service begins at 2:30 p.m. Rev. Van Williams of New Canaan Missionary Baptist Church will be the speaker. Revival services, Monday through Friday begin at 7 p.m. nightly. Rev. Craig Westery of St. Paul Missionary Baptist Church of McIntosh is the evangelist. For additional information call Mae E. James Chapel's pastor anniversary

James Chapel Baptist Church of Barlow Bend will observe Rev. Osbry Millender's 27th year anniversary Sunday, Aug. 27. The guest speaker for the 11:30 a.m. service will be Rev. Charlie Woodard, pastor of the St. Joseph Baptist Church of Loxley. The guest speaker for the 2:30 p.m. service will be Rev. Robert Taylor, pastor of the Antioch A.M.E. Church of Alma. Sis. Kathy Bryant is the clerk, Dec. Calvin Jackson is secretary and Rev. Osbry Millender is the pastor.

Cedar Point choir night set
