Barfield-Santowski wed in Austin, Texas
The bride is the daughter of George and Lynn Santowski of Georgetown, Texas. She is the granddaughter of the late George and Anne Santowski and the late Joseph and Mary Marcis of Chicago, Ill. The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. William (Bill) A. Barfield of Frisco City and Ruth Barfield of Grove Hill. He is the grandson of Mildred Barfield of Grove Hill and the late A.N. (Archie) Barfield and the late Mary Bell Barfield and the late H.J. Cooper Sr. and the late Louise Cooper, both of Whatley. Given in marriage by her father, George Santowski, the bride wore an ivory, strapless satin gown with beading by Provinias with an empire waist, A-line silhouette and a chapel train. Misty Muskett, friend of the bride, of Little Elm, Texas, was matron of honor. Jaime Kwaitkowski, cousin of the bride, of Charlotte, N.C. was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Lindsay Grant, friend of the bride, of Pelham, Lisa Jeffery, friend of the bride, of Pflugerville, Texas, Jillian Krause, cousin of the bride, Holly Wentland, cousin of the bride, both of Chicago, Ill., Michelle Lindsey, friend of the bride, of Theodore, Lani Miller, friend of the bride, of Acworth, Ga., Julie Santowski, cousin of the bride, of Plano, Texas, Becky Smith, friend of the bride, of Douglasville, Ga. and Liz Smith, friend of the bride, of Chelsea. Catie Santowski, cousin of the bride, of Frisco, Texas was the flower girl. The groom was attended by his father, William A. (Bill) Barfield of Frisco City. Groomsmen were Clay Dickinson, friend of the groom, of Birmingham, Blake Rager, Chad Bradford, friends of the groom, both of Grove Hill, Mark Woodson, friend of the groom, of Selma, Jeff Cobb, friend of the groom, of Trussville, Joel Taylor, friend of the groom, of Sardis, Mike Walker, friend of the groom, of Coffeeville, Cameron Barfield, brother of the groom, of Frisco City, J.J. Santowski, brother of the bride, of Georgetown, Texas, Joe McConnell, friend of the groom, of Pensacola, Fla., and Ric Gilmore, friend of the groom, of Thomasville. Paul Santowski, cousin of the bride, of Arvada, Colo. was the ringbearer. A reception was held at the Renaissance Austin Hotel in the grand ballroom. Servers for the bride and groom's tables were provided by the Renaissance. The event was buffet style with a sit-down dinner. An after-rehearsal dinner was held at the Top of the Oasis on Lake Travis in Austin, Texas. After a wedding trip to Cabo San Lucas, Mexico the couple will reside in Austin, Texas.
