Babes working at taking program to new heights

CCHS'Carrie Gordon digs a ball in practice as Babes work in pre-season practice.
"They are working hard," new Coach Athena Hubbert said of her Clarke County High School Babes volleyball team. "We just have a lot of work to do because we didn't have the summer workouts."

Clarke County opens the season on Aug. 29 when they travel to Chatom to take on Washington County and Fruitdale in a Tri-match.

"We still have a long way to go and a lot of work to do before that first match," Hubbert added.

The Babes still have two weeks of practice before that first match.
