God doesn't change

By Rev. Heary Rodgers
Whatley & Gainestown A.O.H. Churches

There are many things that change, even people change. All of us can think back over our lives and see how things have changed, or even how we have changed. My friend, there is someone and something that will never change-that is Jesus and His word.

Hebrews, 13:8-"Jesus Christ, He is the same yesterday and today, and forever."

Malachi, 3:6-"For I am the Lord, I change not; therefore ye sons of Jacob are not consumed.

Since the beginning of time, God has set standards for us to live by and just because the time changes that doesn't mean we don't have to continue to live by those standards. Don't let anyone or anything have you to fall short of what God wants you to do. You have to hold up God's standards even if you have to hold them up alone. If you do that there will be a great reward for you.

Revelation, 22:12-"And behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with me, to give every man according as his work shall be. Some want to only live by the standards that suit them. You can not and will not see God in peace doing that. I encourage you to live a godly life so that you will hear Him say, "Well done."

In these last days there will be many temptations, but don't give in. Keep your eyes on God, not the things of this world. May God bless you.
