Bridge tourney benefits local hospital

Members of the Grove Hill Memorial Hospital hosted their annual bridge luncheon Wednesday, Aug. 16 at The Magnolia. The fundraiser is a 20-year tradition and brought in participants from as far away as Texas. A majority of those playing came from Jackson and others were from Brewton, Butler, Thomasville, Tuscaloosa, Grove Hill and Pensacola, Fla.
