BOE meets today

The Clarke County Board of Education will meet Thursday, (today), Aug. 31 at 4 p.m. Items to be discussed include minutes of the Aug. 3 and 15 meeting, agenda, superintedent's report, SSA dues, up-date of policy, personnel, bills, accounts and payroll.

Fulton Blood Drive set

Red Cross Blood Drive will be held Friday, Sept. 1 from 1 until 6 p.m. at the Fulton Baptist Church.

WHHS Class of 1966 reunion set

Wilson Hall High School Class of 1966 will celebrate its 40th year reunion beginning Friday, Sept. 1 through Sunday, Sept. 3 in Grove Hill. For more information you may contact: Theresa Ambrose at 251-275-3739 or Doris Wilson at 251-275-8484.

Parden reunion set

The Parden Family Reunion will be Saturday, Sept. 2 at the Bethel Baptist Church Fellowship Hall in Coffeeville.

Harrison family reunion

The Levi S. Harrison family reunion will be Monday, Sept. 4 , Labor Day at the Chilton Baptist Church. A covered dish lunch will be served. A gospel singing will be held in the afternoon. All family and friends are invited to attend.

Coffeeville RSVP meets

The Coffeeville RSVP will meet Tuesday, Sept. 5 at 2 p.m. at the Nutrition Center. Everyone is invited to attend.

Coffeeville VFD Shrimp Boil

The Coffeeville Volunteer Fire Department will have a Shrimp Boil Saturday, Oct. 14 from 10:30 a.m. until. The price will be $8 per plate or per pound.
