CPS at Faith The Gators take their first step into AAA region play and they start with a tough opponent. Plus the game is on the road. Many feel Faith will be the team to beat. A.L. Johnson at CHS The Panthers are chomping at the bit to end their 10-game losing skid. It could end this Friday when the Eagles come calling. JA at Wilcox JA lost a tough one last week and now they go to Camden to play a tough Wildcat team that is 1-0. But a win here would big confidence.
at JHS Thursday night - The Aggies beat the Bears two years ago at Legion Field. They are hoping for the same when Leroy comes across the Tombigbee River. Leroy at JHS Thursday night - The last time they lost in Jackson they won a state title. Will it be de'javu all over again as the Bears are posied to make a title run? Marengo at John Essex The Scottie Jones era starts for the Panthers who take on a good John Essex team. MHS' duo of Bouler and Brown is lethal. SWHS at THS The Bulldogs have the skill players, but the line is trying to gel. This is a good game to come together, because a good showing sends fear throughout Class 1A.
at THS Jake Overstreet knows how to bring a team back late. This is where it started for him last year. But this is a dangerous game for the 4A school.
