St. James AME revival

St. James AME Church in Jackson will have revival services will begin Monday, Sept. 4 through Friday, Sept. 8 at 7 p.m. nightly. Rev. Earnest Eirby, pastor of the Pine Level Baptist Church of Arlington will be the evangelist for the week. Rev. Clausell Boykin is the pastor.

Inspirational Tabernacle revival

The Inspirational Tabernacle Church in Jackson will continue its revival Thursday (tonight), Sept. 7 through Friday, Sept. 8 at 7 p.m. nightly. Dr. D.L. Hughes of Minneapolis, Minn. will be the speaker. The theme is entitled "Change Your Thinker and Change Your Life." Pastor is Beverly Jackson.

New Home Church gospel concert

New Home Church near Monroeville will have a gospel concert Friday, Sept. 8 at 7 p.m. featuring the "The Dixie Echoes" along with "Grateful Heart" Friday, Sept. 8 at 7 p.m. There will be no charge for admission but a love offering will be received. The New Home Church is located between Repton and Monroeville just north of U.S. Highway 84 East. For more information call Rev. Kenneth Johnson at 251-575-2524.

Horeb Baptist homecoming

Horeb Baptist Church will have homecoming Sunday, Sept. 10. Rev. Doug Williams will bring the message. A covered dish lunch will follow the service. Sunday will begin at 10 and worship at 11 a.m.

First Assembly kids crusade

Kidz Quest Children's Ministry of the First Assembly of God in Jackson will have a "Not of This World" Kids Crusade, Sunday, Sept. 10-Wednesday, Sept. 13. The crusade will begin Sunday at 6 p.m.-7:30 p.m. Monday through Wednesday, 6:30-8 p.m. for children, ages 3-12. There will be worship, object lessons, puppets, drama, scripture, special guest characters, games and much more. There will be free prizes every night and also one boy and one girl ages 3-7 and ages 8-12 will receive a new bicycle each night. Two grand prizes will be given away on Wednesday. There will also be a prize awarded to the child who brings the most friends throughout the crusade. First Assembly of God is located on Hwy. 69 across from the National Guard Armory in Jackson. Orange Hill singing set

Orange Hill Baptist Church will have a singing Sunday, Sept. 10 at 3 p.m. The Singing Aggregation of Mobile will be the host. Deacon A.J. Pritchett is the clerk. Rev. James Bauner is the pastor.

Williams Temple homecoming, revival

Williams Temple CME Church located at 206 Davis Avenue in Thomasville will have its Annual Homecoming Day Celebration Sunday, Sept. 10 at 2:30 p.m. Elder James Richardson, pastor of Winn A.O.H. Church will be the guest speaker. Revival services will be Monday, Sept. 11 through Wednesday, Sept. 13 at 7:30 p.m. nightly. Rev. Eddie Marzette, pastor of Hopewell C.M.E. Church of Monroeville will be the evangelist for the week. Sis. Lillie Arnold is the chairperson. Rev. Hazel Kirksey is the pastor.

Dickinson Baptist homecoming

Dickinson Baptist Church will have homecoming Sunday, Sept. 10. Sunday school will begin at 9:45 and worship will be at 11 a.m. The special speaker will be Bro. Don White. Dinner and singing will be held afterwards.

Salem Baptist revival

Salem Baptist Church will have a revival beginning Monday, Sept. 11, Tuesday, Sept. 12 and Wednesday, Sept. 13 at 7 p.m. nightly. Bro. William Allison of Mt. Gilead Baptist Church will be the speaker. Bro. Harvey Hutto invites everyone to attend.

Pine Chapel pastor appreciation

Pine Chapel No. I Baptist Church of Grove Hill will observe its pastor, Rev. Eligha Scott Jr.'s 13th year appreciation Sunday, Sept. 17 at 2:30 p.m. Rev. J.C. Garror, pastor of the Little Welcome Baptist Church of Mobile is the guest speaker. Sis. Joan Pugh is the clerk.

Lily Baptist homecoming, revival

Lily Baptist Church of Fulton will have its annual homecoming and revival services Sunday, Sept. 17 at 3 p.m. The special guests will be The Jackson Male Chorus. The guest speaker will be Rev. Hubert Baker and his congregation of the Mt. Olive #2 Baptist Church of Mobile. Revival Services will begin at 7 p.m. nightly. Rev. James McGhee will be evangelist for the week. Rev. Wiley McMillian is the pastor.

New Faith homecoming

New Faith Baptist Church will celebrate its homecoming Sunday, Sept. 17. Bro. Mike Maloy of Stave Creek Baptist Church will bring the morning message. Special music will be provided by Endless Praise. A fellowship will be held after the morning service with more singing to follow.

Good Hope getting basics

Good Hope Baptist Church is getting back to the basics, with sermons on "Basic Bible Doctrine," with Rev. Stuart Pope. Sunday school will be at 10 a.m., worship at 11 a.m. each Sunday morning.
