Clarke-Steadham to say vows Oct. 7

Miss Clarke, Mr. Steadham
Mr. and Mrs. Doug Clarke of Grove Hill announce the engagement of their daughter, Christy Ann Clarke, to Richard Brandon Steadham, son of Mr. and Mrs. Ricky Steadham of Thomasville.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Phillip Smelley of Whatley and the late Melvin Phillips, Mr. and Mrs. Forrest Clarke of Grove Hill and the late Mrs. Mary Catherine Clarke.

The prospective groom is the grandson of Mrs. Bonnie Bradford of Thomasville and the late Bobby Ray Bradford, Mrs. Hazel Jean Steadham of Thomasville and the late Al Steadham.

Miss Clarke is a 2004 graduate of Clarke County High School. She is a 2006 graduate of Alabama Southern Community College with an associate degree in Business Administration. She is currently employed with Clarke Washington Electric Membership Corporation, in Jackson.

Mr. Steadham is a 2002 graduate of Thomasville High School. He is a 2006 graduate of Alabama Southern Community College with a decree in Machine Technology. He is employed with Burkes Mechanical in Pine Hill.

The wedding will be an event of Saturday, Oct. 7, 2006 at 2:00 p.m. at Liberty Baptist Church, 7759 Old Hwy. 5 South in Thomasville. All family and friends are invited through the medium of the press.
