Inspirational Tabernacle Church of Jackson will be in revival Thursday (tonight), Sept. 14 through Saturday, Sept. 16 at 7 p.m. The evangelist will be Genet Horn of Whatley. The pastor is Beverly Jackson.
Bassett Creek Baptist's week of celebration Bassett Creek Baptist Church will hold its second annual week of celebration beginning Sunday, Sept. 17 through Wednesday, Sept. 20. The guest speaker will be Dr. James Best of Thomasville Baptist Church at 11 a.m. The guest speaker at 6 p.m. will be Andy Mims, pastor of Calvary Baptist Church in Linden. There will be no service on Monday, but the celebration will resume on Tuesday, Sept. 19 at 7 p.m. with a message from Mike Maloy, pastor of Stave Creek Baptist Church in Jackson. The week will conclude on Wednesday, Sept. 20 at 7 p.m. with special guest speaker Howard Gaston of Evergreen Baptist Church. First Baptist of Whatley homecoming and revival First Baptist Church of Whatley will have its annual homecoming Sunday, Sept. 17 at 11 a.m. Rev. Jerome Bell of Birmingham will be the guest speaker. Revival services will be Monday, Sept. 18 through Friday, Sept. 22 at 7 p.m. nightly. The speaker for the week will be Rev. Carl Bolden of Mt. Carmel Baptist Church of Mobile.
New Greater First Baptist's homecoming and revival The New Greater First Baptist Church will have its homecoming Sunday, Sept. 17 at 11 a.m. Terrence Autry, pastor of the Eirene Christian Fellowship of Richardson, Texas will be the guest speaker. Revival services will be Monday, Sept. 18 through Thursday, Sept. 21 at 7 p.m. nightly. Dr. Emerson W. Ware, pastor of Great Bethel Baptist Church of Alexander City will be the evangelist for the week. Regina Gwin is the clerk and Carlton L. Hogue is the pastor.
Wayman Chapel pastor's appreciation to be Sept. 17 Wayman Chapel A.M.E. Church will have its pastor's fifth year appreciation for Rev. Prospere Sainvilus Sunday, Sept. 17. The 11 a.m. service will be brought by Rev. Nicholas Jackson Sr., Associate Minister of New Testament Tabernacle of McIntosh. The 2:30 p.m. service will be brought by Rev. Leroy Jenkins and congregation of Carry Mt. Baptist Church of Fountain.

Lily Baptist of Fulton sets homecoming and revival
Lily Baptist Church of Fulton will have its annual homecoming and revival services Sunday, Sept. 17 at 3 p.m. The special guests will be The Jackson Male Chorus. The guest speaker will be Rev. Hubert Baker and his congregation of the Mt. Olive #2 Baptist Church of Mobile. Revival Services will begin at 7 p.m. nightly. Rev. James McGhee will be evangelist for the week. Rev. Wiley McMillian is the pastor.
New Faith homecoming set New Faith Baptist Church will celebrate its homecoming Sunday, Sept. 17. Bro. Mike Maloy of Stave Creek Baptist Church will bring the morning message. Special music will be provided by Endless Praise. A fellowship will be held after the morning service with more singing to follow.

The Sunday service will be at noon with Minister Vincent Robinson, youth minister of the Word of Life Church of Chickasaw bringing the message. Revival services will begin at 7 p.m. nightly Monday through Wednesday. Rev. Marcus Kelley, co-pastor of the Word of Truth Fellowship Church of Jackson will be the evangelist of the week. Rev. Mackey Branch No. 2 sets benefit program Sept. 30
Mackey Branch No. 2 Baptist Church of Whatley will have a benefit program for Sis. Beatrice Coates, Saturday, Sept. 30 at 7 p.m. Mrs. Coates is currently at UAB Hospital in Birmingham, awaiting a lung transplant and is very much in need of financial assistance and your prayers. If you cannot come a donation will be greatly appreciated. The Voices N' Harmony will be hosting this program. Sis. Ethel Evans is the secretary and Rev. Dave Adams is the pastor.
Saint Peter Baptist schedules homecoming and revival
Saint Peter Baptist Church located in the Allen community in Grove Hill will have its annual homecoming Sunday, Oct. 1 at 11:30 a.m. Revival services will be Monday, Oct. 2 through Friday, Oct. 6 at 7:30 p.m. nightly. Rev. Leonard Frazier of the Stonewall Baptist Church of Mt. Vernon will be the evangelist for the week. Rev. Matthew Davis is the pastor.
St. Peter's Episcopal sets activities listed St. Peter's Episcopal Church located at 200 Hospital Drive in Jackson will have a service and sermon each Sunday at 11 a.m. (Children's Church during the 11 a.m. service. and each Sunday, adult education classes with the subject entitled, "A People Called Episcopalians." Wednesday, Brown-Bag Theology and lunch schedule will be worship at noon from the noonday office, five to 10 minutes, lunch and at 12:45 end the discussion. Tea and coffee will be provided. Individuals provide their own lunch. Wednesday, Oct. 4, feast of St. Francis of Assisi topic: "Being Instruments of God's Peace." A lobster supper fundraiser, "The Main Event" on Saturday, Sept. 30 will be held at 6 p.m. to benefit the Wilmer Hall Children's Home in Mobile. Tickets are $20 each.
