The Gators rebounded with a big win last week. This week they will be facing a team that took it on the chin 47-0 against Faith. This is a key region match-up.

Blacksher

The young Panthers are still looking for their first win this season. The trip to Uriah could reap the rewards they are seeking.

The Eagles showed improvement last week against Patrician. This week they host a good Escambia team and Jackson could get their first win of the season.

A 49-0 win will do wonders for a program and that is what the Aggies needed. Now they face the daunting task of traveling to play the top-ranked Tigers this week.

Keith proved to be a decent foe last week and this week's foe held top-ranked Southern Choctaw to just 15 points. It will be a good test for the Bears after two big wins.

Shields

The Panthers are a suprising 2-0 so far this season, but Shields has a pretty good team. Scottie Jones' team will have their first test of the season at Beatrice.

Sunshine at

SWHS

Sunshine beat ranked-Linden last week which means they have a pretty good team. The Bulldogs breezed through Akron. This should be a pretty good contest.

The top-ranked Tigers rolled through Hillcrest-Evergreen, now they have the Jackson Aggies, 49-0 winners over Monroe. This is the first leg of the county title.

LA-Monroe at

Alabama

The Tide is rolling at 2-0 and ranked 24th in the coaches poll. The game will be on pay-per-view.

LSU

at

Auburn

Auburn is ranked four and LSU is number six. The winner has played for the SEC title the last four years. TV- 2:30 - CBS.

So. Arkansas at UWA

Bobby Wallace has UWA off to a 2-0 start. So. Arkansas is next. Kickoff is at 7 p.m.
