The Bulldogs venture to Butler in the hopes of a region win as well as a possible Tri-county title that hangs in the balance when they meet Chatom later in the year.

CPS at

Taylor Road

CPS took a hard loss last week but look to rebound this week when they head to Montgomery. Taylor Road will be flinging the ball all over the lot this week.

J.F. Shields at CHS

This is the first in a 5-game homestand for the Panthers. They are still looking for their first win this season.

Sparta

at

JA

JA looks to get some of the players back off of the injured reserve this week. With Sparta coming to town the Eagles could get their first win this year.

Southside -Selma

at JHS

The Aggies left everything on the field last week against THS. This week they can jump back in the playoff hunt with a win over the team from Dallas County.

Georgiana

LHS

The Bears has ascended to the top spot in the rankings with their Excel win. This week they face the team that knocked off top-ranked Southern Choctaw.

J.U. Blacksher at MHS

Marengo is rolling right along with a 3-0 record. New coach Scottie Jones has the troops playing tough. They should be 4-0 when the final horn sounds.

SWHS

Linden

In the pre-season this looked like the battle for the top spot in the region. The Patriots are a dangerous team that went to the quarter-finals in the playoffs last year.

THS at

W.S.

Neal

The Blue Eagles are a big, strong team that has painted a bulls-eye on the Tigers. Last week may prove to be a wake-up call for top-ranked Thomasville.

Alabama

at

Arkansas

The Tide will be playing their second SEC game of the season. Fayetteville is a tough place to go into, but Bama is still unbeaten.

Buffalo

at

Auburn

The Tigers are ranked number two and poised for a run at a National title. Buffalo shouldn't poise any problems.

So. Arkansas at UWA

The unbeaten Tigers won their first conference game in two seasons. They go for two in a row Thursday night.
