FCA members 'Meet at the Pole'

Clarke County High School and the Fellowship of Christian Athletes acknowledged "See You at the Pole" on Sept. 27 with the largest turnout the school has ever seen with more than 100 students. "See You at the Pole" is a student-initiated, student organized and student-led event. Students and teachers gathered around the school's flagpole to pray for their school, friends, teachers, community and world, which was led by teacher Jaimi Bradford. Grove Hill Baptist Church provided donuts and juice for students before the meeting, which began at 7:30. Fellowship of Christian Athletes officers Danny Norris and Schaefer Bradford led the ceremony by reading scripture. "See You at the Pole" is scheduled annually on the fourth Wednesday in September. This event is simply a time to pause and unite with others.. Photo by Jake Paul
