CPS at Bessemer Clarke Prep handed reigning the state champs a thumping last week. Their reward is a long road trip to Bessemer and the top-ranked Rebels. McIntosh at CHS The Panthers are on the cusp of getting their first win. A much improved McIntosh team comes calling this week to make it tough. JA at Warrior A win can put some giddy-up in a player's step. That will be added to this week as the Eagles go to Eutaw with a chance of getting their second win in a row. JHS at Escambia
LHS at Flomaton The Bears took it on the chin last week and dropped to seventh in the rankings. Look for the Bears to disrupt the Hurricane warnings this week. MHS at Frisco City The Panthers can cause a lot of damage in the region if they can steal a win on the road. A win here and they could still have a chance at hosting in the playoffs. SWHS at A.L. Johnson The Bulldogs have to come back down this week after dispatching top-ranked Leroy last week. The first obstacle is a tough road trip to Thomaston. T.R Miller at THS It doesn't get any bigger than no. 1 (THS) playing no. 2 (Miller) with a region title on the line. These two schools know what these games are all about. It can be a classic.
at Alabama Bama needed a game like this after dropping two SEC games. This week they can work on getting things back on track. Arkansas at Auburn The Tigers dodged a bullet in Columbia. A confident Hogs team will come calling. That may be all the Hog calling we hear. Webber Intl. at UWA Bobby Wallace is trying to put the skids on a losing streak this week. It's homecoming too.
