Grove Hill accident

Two Thomasville women were injured in this accident on Jackson Street, Thursday, Oct. The driver of the 1984 Buick LaSabre, Vivian Marie Burroughs and her passenger Angela Champion were both transported to Southwest Alabama Medical Center in Thomasville and treated for their injuries. The driver of the 2004 Peterbilt, Elbert Chapman of Grove Hill, was not injured. It appeared the truck was attempting to make a right hand turn off of Jackson Street into the former Chick-A-Dee parking lot when the two collided. Grove Hill Police Officer Woodie Coates investigated the accident.
