Clarke E-911 Board meets

The Clarke County E-911 Board met Tuesday, Oct. 10.

Director Becky Neugent reported that all equipment was in good working order and that work on the new center is progressing.

Advisory board member and Clarke County EMA Director Roy Waite reported that the advisory board had met by telephone and there had been no complaints to address for several months.

Clarke County 911 answered 1,210 calls for 911, responded to 474 calls for service, ran 28 tag numbers and 600 drivers license numbers over the past month.

Jackson Police Department answered 95 calls to 911 and Thomasville Police Department answered 173.
