Madison makes the move to the NFL Steelers

Thomasville native and former University of Alabama football player Anthony Madison was signed to the Pittsburg Steelers squad this week and saw playing time in the game on Sunday night against San Diego.

He saw his playing time come while working on special teams.

At Alabama he was a 3-year starter. While at Thomasville High School he was a 2-time all-state performer.

See The Democrat next week for more on Madison with the defending world champion Steelers.
