Lady Gators beat Faith

The Clarke Prep School Lady Gators volleyball team beat powerhouse Faith Academy 25-14, 23-25, 25-21 and 26-24 last Thursday in Grove Hill.

Katelyn Dunagan had eight digs, five aces, 23 hits and a kill. Tess Ackerman had six digs, six aces, six hits and two kills. Corrie Allen added six digs, two aces, nine hits and three kills. Julie Banks had five digs, a hit and five kills. Jessica McKinley had two digs, four hits and a kill. Beth Kania had five digs, a hit and a kill. Lindsay Jordan had nine digs, four aces and a hit. Harley Horton had two digs, two aces, seven hits and five kills.

On Sept. 28 the Lady Gators beat Monroe 25-11, 25-13 and 25-12.

Dunagan had 12 hits. Ackerman added three digs, four aces and seven hits. Allen had two digs, eight aces and three hits. Banks had two digs, five aces, six hits and two kills.

CPS beat Wilcox 25-4, 25-4 and 25-5 on Sept. 26.

Allen had six aces. McKinley had seven aces. Banks had five aces.

The Lady gators lost a lost match with top-ranked Cottage Hill 24-26, 20-25 and 20-25 on Sept. 25.

Dunagan had seven digs, 11 hits, four blocks and five kills. Janine Kania had three digs. Ackerman had 15 digs, five hits and a kill. Allen added 16 digs, two aces and four hits. Horton had four digs, four aces, six hits and a kill.
