Big turnout for Grandparents Day

On Monday, Sept. 11 the K5-6th grades put on a Grandparents Day Program. The turn out was unbelievable! There were grandparents there from as far away as Auburn.

Each class preformed different activities from singing to skits and the CPS band also performed. After the program was over the grandparents were invited back to the classrooms where they were welcomed by the teacher and enjoyed refreshments and getting crafts made by the students.

A special thanks to all the teachers for making this a special day for the grandparents.
