County equipment vandalized in Alma community last week

The Clarke County Sheriff's Department was called to investigate the vandalism of some of the county's heavy equipment.

Monday morning Clarke County road and bridge employees found the windows had been broken out on one side of a motor grader which was in the Alma community.

Apparently beer bottles and rocks had been used to break the windows and it was estimated that repairs will cost at least $1,000.
