Hester-Collins to marry Oct. 28

Donna K. Kimbrough of Scyrene and Billy Don Hester of California announce the engagement of their daughter, Ashley Hester, to David J. Collins, son of Jackie and Molly Collins of Zimco.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Louise Hester and the late Billy Hester, and the late Sam and Florine Ponder, all of Lake Village, Ark.

The prospective groom is the grandson of Paul and Lillian Roney of Wagarville and Shirley Barrett of Grove Hill and the late David Barrett.

Miss Hester is a 2003 graduate of Thomasville High School.

Mr. Collins is a 2002 graduate of Clarke Prep School.

The wedding will be an event of Saturday, Oct. 28 at 5 p.m. A guest list will be by invitation only.
