James Chapel Baptist continues revival

James Chapel Baptist Church of Barlow Bend will end its revival Thursday, (tonight), Oct. 26 at 7 p.m. The speaker will be Rev. Clausell Boykin, pastor of the St. James A.M.E. Church of Choctaw Bluff. Sis. Kathy Bryant is the clerk, Deacon Calvin Jackson is the secretary and Rev. Osbry Millender is the pastor.

Dickinson and Fulton Growth Day set

Dickinson and Fulton Growth Day will be Sunday, Oct. 29 at Lily Baptist Church in Fulton. Sunday School will be at 10 a.m. and morning worship at 11:30 a.m. The guest speaker will be Rev. Anthony Ezell. Rev. Wiley McMillian is the pastor.

Choir Day

New Greater First Baptist Church will have Choir Day Sunday, Oct. 29 at 2:30 p.m. Pastor C. Dwight Woods and Berean Baptist Church family of Marion will be the special guests. Dr. Jeffrey Merida is the minister of music. Carlton L. Hogue is the pastor.

Millry Baptist blood drive and Halloween

Millry Baptist Church and United Blood Services will be conducting a blood drive Tuesday, Oct. 31 from noon until 6 p.m. in the church fellowship hall. If you are able to donate blood please make plans to donate. You may schedule an appointment by calling the church office at 251-846-2263. Walk-ins are also welcome. St. Peter's Episcopal Church located at 200 Hospital Drive in Jackson will have a service and sermon each Sunday at 11 a.m. (Children's Church during the 11 a.m. service. and each Sunday, adult education classes with the subject entitled, "A People Called Episcopalians."

Wednesday, Nov. 1, All Saint's Day, topic: "Saintly Behavior in a Crazy World; Wednesday, Dec. 6, feast of St. Nicholas of Myra, topic: "Adult Receiving and Childlike Giving: Preparing for the Coming of the King." The public is invited to attend and participate.

Full Gospel Apostolic

homecoming and revival

Full Gospel Apostolic Church of God of St. Stephens will have its annual homecoming Sunday, Nov. 5 at 2 p.m. Overseer Robert Keeler and the Living Church of God of Vossburg, Miss., will deliver the homecoming sermon. Revival services will begin Monday, Nov. 6 through Friday, Nov. 10 at 7:30 p.m. nightly. The evangelist for the week will be Overseer Gregory Cannon of Rice Temple A.O.H. Church of God of Montgomery. Elder Theodore Law is the pastor and founder.

Good Hope getting back to basics
