Five people, including three children, were injured in an accident on Highway 43 in the Antioch community Monday morning. Hannah W. Woods of Jackson, who was driving a 1989 Chevrolet pickup (visible in the background), was making a left turn from Highway 43 on to Antioch Road when she was hit from behind by a 2001 Ford Taurus, driven by Brandi S. Chapman, also of Jackson. Chapman's vehicle reportedly flipped several times, ending upside down as pictured. Both drivers were injured as well as Chapman's passengers, Charmayne Chapman, 12, Tanisha Chapman, 9, and Kayla Chapman, 7. All were transported to Jackson Medical Center for treatment of their injuries. The details of their injuries was not known at presstime.
