'Bigbee bank erosion meet in Livingston
     The sixth meeting in a series of 10 to allow property owners and others to learn about issues that impact stream bank erosion along the Tombigbee River will be held Thursday, Nov. 9 from 6:30 until 8:30 p.m. at the University of West Alabama Environmental Training Center in Livingston.

     The band "47 River View" of Nanafalia will perform at ButlerFest on Saturday, Nov. 4 from 2 until 3 p.m. The Nanafalia group attended a recent bluegrass festival in LaGrange, Ga. where the award winning Cherryholmes Bluegrass Family, 2005 Entertainer of the Year, hosted the event.
