Must file for absentee ballot by end of day Thursday, Nov. 2 with circuit clerk

Thursday, Nov. 2 is the last day to file for an absentee ballot to vote in the Nov. 7 election.

Applications can be picked up at the circuit clerk's office at the courthouse in Grove Hill through the end of business today (Thursday).

Eligible voters can cast an absentee ballot if they are not going to be able to go to their precinct and vote Tuesday because of business or health reasons.

Voters must return completed ballots to the clerk's office by 5 p.m. Monday. Ballots can also be mailed but must be postmarked no later than Monday.

Voters are reminded that the polls will be open from 7 a.m. until 7 p.m. on election day.
