Inspirational Tabernacle ends revival

Inspirational Tabernacle Church will end its revival Thursday, (tonight), Nov. 9 at 7:30 p.m. Prophet D.L. Hughes of Orlando, Fla. will be the evangelist. Beverly Jackson is the pastor.

Full Gospel Apostolic revival

Full Gospel Apostolic Church of God of St. Stephens will continue its revival Thursday, (tonight), Nov. 9 and end Friday, Nov. 10 at 7:30 p.m. nightly. The evangelist for the week will be Overseer Gregory Cannon of Rice Temple A.O.H. Church of God of Montgomery. Elder Theodore Law is the pastor and founder.

Mt. Zion #2 Women's Ministry Conference set

The Mt. Zion #2 Baptist Church will host its annual Women's Ministry Conference Saturday, Nov. 11 at 10 a.m. There will be a Glory Train Skit presented by the Women's Ministry. The guest speaker will be Minister Mattie Buxton of Morvin. Jo Alice Robinson is the president. Cory Pruitt is the pastor.

New Home

Church concert

"The Singing Echoes" of Cleveland, Tenn. along with "Grateful Heart" will be in concert at New Home Church near Monroeville on Friday, Nov. 17 at 7 p.m. There will be no charge for admission but a love offering will be taken. Community Thanksgiving service set at Catholic Heart

Sacred Heart Catholic Church will host the community Thanksgiving service Sunday, Nov. 19 at 6 p.m. There will not be an evening service at Grove Hill United Methodist Church. The Grove Hill United Methodist Church Choir will be singing. Rev. Dave W. Rhodes, pastor of GHUMC will be preaching.

St. James A.M.E. anniversary

St. James A.M.E. Church of Choctaw Bluff will have its church anniversary Sunday, Nov. 19 at 2 p.m. The speaker will be Rev. William Jackson along with his church, Little Burrah Baptist Church of Manila. Rev. Clausell Boykin is the pastor.

St. Peter's Episcopal

feast of St. Nicholas set

St. Peter's Episcopal Church located at 200 Hospital Drive in Jackson will have a service and sermon each Sunday at 11 a.m. (Children's Church during the 11 a.m. service and each Sunday, adult education classes with the subject entitled, "A People Called Episcopalians."

Wednesday, Dec. 6, feast of St. Nicholas of Myra, topic: "Adult Receiving and Childlike Giving: Preparing for the Coming of the King." The public is invited to attend and participate.

McConnell Ministries

People of any race, creed, background or color are invited to come to the feast of the Lord at the Grove Hill City Park Sunday mornings at 10:30 a.m. Ministers are Lizzetta McConnell and Deacon Tony McConnell.

Good Hope getting back to basics
