Those represented by blood survive

By Rev. Billy Cardwell

Magnolia Assembly of God

Read Exodus 12 in the Word of God. My simple thought is this: "The Israelites applied the blood of a lamb to the doorposts of their homes and were saved from death. The Egyptians (a type of the world) did not apply the blood of a lamb to the doorposts of their homes and death destroyed therein. There were only two kinds of people in Egypt: those represented by the blood and those not represented by the blood. Those covered by the blood lived-those not covered by the blood died.

There are only two kinds of people in the world today: the saved and the lost or put another way, the children of God or the children of the devil. Which are you? The children of God have accepted Jesus, God's Son, as their Saviour. They believe that Jesus' shed blood washes all their sins away and will one day take them to heaven to live forever in the presence of God Himself. The children of the devil on the other hand do not accept Jesus as Saviour and have not let Him wash their sins away by faith in His shed blood.

Therefore, the old blood line-the blood line which divided Jews and Egyptians in the Old Testament, and "The Blood Line" is dividing the saved and the lost today. Each of us is on one side of the line or the other. We are on the side of life or the side of death. We are with God or against God. We are saved by the blood of Jesus or we are lost by the blood of Jesus. What is your decision?

The "Blood of Jesus" is dividing the entire world into two camps. A camp of life and a camp of death-a future destiny of heaven or hell. Which camp are you in today?
