C'ville police arrest Silas man Halloween night

A Silas man received the trick and Coffeeville Police Department got the treat last Halloween night.

Chief Clint Harrell noticed a vehicle that did not have a tag and pulled it over.

He ran a check on the driver, Marcus K. Lewis, 24, and learned his license was also expired. Lewis' vehicle was searched and a gun and marijuana were found.

Lewis was charged with possession of marijuana, first degree, driving while license revoked, carrying a pistol without a permit and improper tag.

Harrell and Officer Steve Carlisle seized the .38 pistol, the one pound bag of marijuana and $912.96 in cash.

Lewis was transported to the Clarke County Jail and his bond was set at $9,500.

Arthurine Bettis, 50, disorderly conduct, public intoxication, $1,000 bond, arrested by Grove Hill Police Dept.

Vincent Montez Cade, 33, probation violation, $20,000 bond, arrested by probation officer.

Keith Deon Campbell, 18, disorderly conduct, $500 bond, arrested by Grove Hill Police Dept.

Sophia Evelean Champion, 39, driving without first obtaining a license, arrested by Thomasville Police Dept.

James Leon Davis, 45, three counts bad checks, $2,000 bond, arrested by Clarke County Sheriff's Dept.

Lisa Yvonne Deas, 20, operating a vehicle without insurance, arrested by Thomasville Police Dept.

Jeremy Labryant Dixon, 19, public intoxication, unlawful possession of controlled substance, $1,000 bond, arrested by Grove Hill Police Dept.

Ashely Ann Dubose Gilmore, 20, DUI, $1,000 bond, arrested by Coffeeville Police Dept.

James Edward Hightower Sr., 53, child support, arrested by Clarke County Sheriff's Dept.

Chris Dewayne James, 21, disorderly conduct, $500 bond, arrested by Grove Hill Police Dept.

Barbara Ann Jones, 53, theft of property, third degree, $1,000 bond, arrested by Grove Hill Police Dept.

Jamarcus Lashaun King, 19, two counts theft of property, third degree, driving without first obtaining a license, probation revocation, $1,300 bond, arrested by Jackson Police Dept.

Dexter Tyrone Law, 18, carrying a pistol without a license, $500 bond, arrested by Thomasville Police Dept.

Shirley Mae Lucyiers, 38, theft of property, third degree, arrested by Jackson Police Dept.

James N. McMahan, 62, possession of forged instrument, $5,000 bond, arrested by Thomasville Police Dept.

Ledger Morrissette Jr., 41, child support, court costs, promoting prison contraband, $3,000 bond, arrested by Thomasville Police Dept.

Jason R. Misiewice, 23, DUI, driving while license revoked, giving false information to an officer, $1,000 bond, arrested by Alabama State Troopers.

Anthony D. Packer, 24, DUI, driving while license suspended, violation of prohibition law, careless driving, $2,500 bond, arrested by Grove Hill Police Dept.

Ludary Perine, 37, failure to appear on DUI, second degree, driving while license revoked, $2,498.76 bond, arrested by Jackson Police Dept.

Tamyron Lashaun Stabler, 26, probation violation for possession of forged instrument, $15,000 bond, arrested by probation officer.
