New Arrivals Announced
Shameca Bettis and Christopher Cope, both of Montgomery announce the arrival of a daughter, Catelynn Da-Niece Cope, born Oct. 31, 2006 at 6:19 a.m. at Baptist East Medical Center in Montgomery. She weighed five lbs., 11 ozs. and measured 19 inches. Grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. Arthurine Bettis of Fulton. Grandfathers are Edd Welch of Fulton and James Raybon of Montgomery. Grandmother is the late Miss Lola Cope. Great-grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. Willie Wilson of Fulton and the late Mr. and Mrs. Harrison Welch. Great-grandmothers are the late Mrs. Doris Nobles Mills and the late Mrs. Ella Cope.
Smith Mr. and Mrs. Hampton Brent Smith (nee Brooke Bedwell) of Tuscaloosa announce the birth of a son, Jackson Brent, Wednesday, Oct. 11, 2006, 12:36 a.m. at Druid City Hospital in Tuscaloosa. He weighed six lbs., 10 ozs. and was 19 1/4 inches long. Grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. Grady Bedwell of Jackson, Carol Smith of Tuscaloosa and the late Lawrence Brent Smith. Great-grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. John J. Jackson of Thomasville, Elizabeth Tennyson of Tuscaloosa and the late Verdo Brent Smith. Great-great-grandparents were the late Mr. and Mrs. Roy Bedwell and the late Mr. and Mrs. Grinstead.
