Give Thanks To God At Thanksgiving And All Year Round
House of Prayer Missionary Church located on the Missionary Road in Alma will present "Missionary Day" Saturday, Nov. 25 at 3 p.m. The speakers will be Pastor Kevin Boykin and Minister Janet Leggett. The theme will be "Meeting Human Needs," with the printed text taken from Matthew 25:31-46 and the key verse being Matthew, 25:40. Events of the day will include activities and play time from 12 p.m. until 2 p.m. and refreshments from 2 until 2:45 p.m. Elder Curtis H.B. Kilpatrick Sr. is the pastor, "The Sin Killer" located at 910 Commerce Street in Jackson.
Mt. Gilead anniversary Mt. Gilead of Carlton will host its annual church anniversary Sunday, Nov. 26 at 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. Rev. Dave Adam Jr. of Mackey Branch Church of Gosport and Little Sunflower #1 Baptist Church will be the guest speaker. Rev. L.E. Bush Jr. is the pastor.

St. Peter's Episcopal Church holds special programs St. Peter's Episcopal Church located at 200 Hospital Drive in Jackson will have a service and sermon each Sunday at 11 a.m. (Children's Church during the 11 a.m. service and each Sunday, adult education classes with the subject entitled, "A People Called Episcopalians." Wednesday, Dec. 6, feast of St. Nicholas of Myra, topic: "Adult Receiving and Childlike Giving: Preparing for the Coming of the King." The public is invited to attend and participate.

Good Hope getting basics
