Time to look back at what we are truly thankful for

     As we head towards our annual Thanksgiving break we again as a faculty are reminded of how blessed we truly are. The students have worked hard so far this year and we are thankful for the opportunity to provide them with a quality education.

     The Wilson Hall Middle School Junior Beta recently held its annual election of officers. After speeches and campaign skits were completed, the club elected by secret ballot Courtney Carter, president; Erica Williams, vice-president; Ashley Foster, treasurer; and LaShonda Scott, secretary.

4-H food drive set for school
     The Wilson Hall Middle School after school PAWS 4-H Club collected can goods and non-perishable food items to be donated for holiday food needs in Clarke County. There is a great need in our county food pantries because Hurricane Katrina almost emptied the shelves of several food banks.

     The Blue Ribbon Campaign of Clarke County High School recently collected money for the Salvation Army. Pictured are members who participated in the drive.
