Time to look back at what we are truly thankful for
By Larry Bagley

As we head towards our annual Thanksgiving break we again as a faculty are reminded of how blessed we truly are. The students have worked hard so far this year and we are thankful for the opportunity to provide them with a quality education.

WHMS just completed many activities related to American Education Week. Mrs. Jennifer Abston and the Student Government Association officers did a tremendous job preparing a brunch on Nov. 14 for our retired teachers.

I provided a short devotion and Jenny Henderson thrilled the group with her singing ability. Other activities held during this week included an appreciation breakfast for teachers and staff.

The PTA gave gifts of appreciation to our support personnel who work hard to make our school so successful.

As the month of Dec. quickly approaches, we are reminded that we are winding down our first semester.

All our seventh and eighth grade students will be taking semester exams from Dec. 19 through Dec. 21.

The teachers, the staff, and the students at Wilson Hall Middle School would like to wish everyone a safe and happy Thanksgiving season.
