4-H food drive set for school

The Wilson Hall Middle School after school PAWS 4-H Club collected can goods and non-perishable food items to be donated for holiday food needs in Clarke County. There is a great need in our county food pantries because Hurricane Katrina almost emptied the shelves of several food banks.

Parents were encouraged to help their child donate food to this very needy cause. The students who participated learned the importance of becoming involved in community service projects.
