Coffeeville Head Start and Pre-K celebrate National Awareness Month

Coffeeville Head Start and Pre-K celebrated "National Head Start Awareness Month," Monday, Oct. 30.

Special guests included the Mayor of Coffeeville, Faye Cotten, Commissioner Patricia Dubose, Commissioner Rhodel Rhone, Coffeeville High School Principal, Janice Richardson, and a former parent.

The Head Start and Pre-K program serves families with limited income and children between the ages of 3 and 5 as well as children with disabling conditions.

In addition to providing educational services to children and families, Coffeeville Head Start and Pre-K provides nutritional, medical, dental, mental health, parent involvement, transition and disability services to participating families.
