COMMUNITY CALENDAR parade set for today Grove Hill’s Annual Christmas Parade will be Thursday, (today), Dec. 7 at 4 p.m. The theme for this year’s parade is “All I Want For Christmas Is.” For more information please contact the Grove Hill Area Chamber of Commerce at 251-275-4188. HIV Prevention group meets Friday, Dec. 8 The Southwest Alabama HIV Prevention Network Group will meet Friday, Dec. 8 at 11 a.m. at the Monroe County Health Department. This meeting is open to anyone interested in planning, promoting and implementing HIV prevention activities. During this meeting, a Christmas covered-dish luncheon will be held. Coffeeville Christmas parade set Dec. 9 Coffeeville Christmas parade will be Saturday, Dec. 9 at 5 p.m. Line-up will begin at Coffeeville High School. Due to the time of the parade there will be a new route. It will begin at the high school, turning onto River Street (Greer’s) and proceed to the end of River Street. Infirmary’s open house to meet new director Infirmary Hospice Care will have open house Monday, Dec. 11 from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. The new medical director is Dr. Keith Scott. Infirmary Hospice’s new location is beside Wyman’s Jewelry in Grove Hill. Refreshments and door prizes will be available. Confederate group to meet in Grove Hill The Clarke County Camp of the Sons of Confederate Veterans will meet for their Annual Christmas meeting Tuesday, Dec. 12 at 6 p.m. at Gloria’s Pour House Café in Grove Hill.
