T’ville man arrested for attempted murder

Thomasville police officers picked up Justin Travon Myles on two attempted murder warrants Dec. 1.

Myles is charged with shooting Derrick West in the chest back in September. West was treated at Southwest Alabama Medical Center in Thomasville and transferred to a Mobile hospital but checked himself out a few days later.

Misdemeanor arrests made by Thomasville officers during the past week include the following:

Jenethia Allen Calhoun, NWNI (bad check) warrant for Clarke County; Christopher Shawn Coston, failure to appear on driving while license revoked case;

Cassondra Shavell McDole, possession of drug paraphernalia;

Roderick Termaine Moore, failure to appear on suspended drivers license, speeding and no driver license charges;

Juvenile, minor in possession of alcohol.

During the week of Nov. 27- Dec. 3, Thomasville police investigated six accidents, answered 24 complaints, made one felony arrest and seven misdemeanor arrests, issued 16 traffic tickets, issued one warning ticket, made one drug arrest and worked 260 special details.
