Students make donation to CAC
By Lois Davis

CCHS students present Mary English a donation for the Children’s Advocacy Center.
Two tenth grade English classes and the Spanish 2 class recently joined forces to donate over $100 to the Child Advocacy Center. They accomplished this by putting change from all three classes into an empty milk jug. When it was full, they opened it and counted it.

All were surprised to think that just dropping change into jug could accumulate so quickly. They followed this up with trip to the Child Advocacy Center where they learned the interview process that victims go through. Mrs. Mary English explained to them the purpose of the center and showed them how the interview process worked.
