Last Tuesday the Panthers opened the season by edging John Essex 55- 51.

Pugh led CHS with 17 points. Grayson had 15 points. Thomas had 10 points. Roy Brooks pulled down 15 rebounds.

The Panthers had been down by 12 points at halftime before making their second half comeback.
