Lady Bulldogs improve to 6-1

The Clarke County High School Lady Bulldogs improved to 6-1 on the season as they beat Sumter County 55-43 in Grove Hill last Saturday night.

Erica Moore had 25 points and nine rebounds to go along with four assists to lead the charge. NaKeshia Coats added 11 points. Stephanie Robinson had nine points and 11 rebounds as well as two steals.

Friday night the Lady Bulldogs traveled to Livingston and won 49- 42 as they got 14 points, 16 rebounds and four steals from Robinson.

Moore added 16 points, six steals and six rebounds. Coats had six points, seven rebounds and two steals. Kiara Gildersleeve had six points, eight rebounds and two steals.

CCHS suffered their first loss of the season last Tuesday 57-37 to Demopolis in Grove Hill.

Ebony Hughes led Clarke County with 13 points. Moore had eight points, three boards and three steals. Coats had six points.

The Lady Bulldogs return to action in two weeks.
